| Born and raised in Los Angeles area, Ca. Grew up the first thirteen years in Encino,attended Sequoia Jr. High, and Pacoima Jr. High Schools.Along with two trips to juvinal road camps for being incorrigible. This mainly due to being a victim of child abuse at the hands of my parents. Went to the eighth grade and started working full time and paying room and board at age fifteen. In one phase of my life I had as many as forty three diffrent jobs in a period of eighteen months.Because of not having a formal education, most were minimum wage positions. I worked in machine shops,was a grave digger, dish washer, worked at a car wash, window washing,hot mop roofing. I Drove school buses, taxi cabs,tow trucks, charter buses and even drove tour trams for Universal Studios , and the list goes on and on. Some jobs lasted as long as an hour or a week, and some even as long as to the first lunch break. Married at eighteen, had three sons by the time I was twenty one. That marriage lasted sixteen years. Divorced and re married to my present wife now for thirty years.I have two step daughters and one eighteen year old grandson and one five year old grand daughter. Got my GED and took some Jr. Collage courses and went to work for a twice weekly news paper as a news photographer. Became chief news Photographer, Picture/Editor. Was a stringer for United press International. Also worked for a daily news paper, and for a chain of tabloids in Encino, Ca.. Woked at two television stationss as a cameraman / editor. Was a cameraman for the orgional television show, Bounty Hunters and became bureau chief for NewsReel Video, covering Northen Santa barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties,supplying all the Los Angeles television markets as well as CNN with breaking news events. My pictures have gone world wide. Conducted an exclusive jail house interview with Lawrence Singleton right before he was released from State Prison back in the seventies. As you may recall, he was the person who cut the arms of one of his rape victims. Tex Watson parole board hearing, he was one of the members of the Charlie Manson group who murdered Sharron tate. Timothy leory,the L.S.D.Guru while he was on trail for excaping from prison.Along with other notorieties. I don't bring this up to brag, but more in an effort to show those who may also have had similar experiences in life, where the bottom looked like up, and felt there was no hope for them. With perseverance one can accomplish anything in life they set their sights on. No one ever said life was going to be easy. I enjoy writting poetry,photography,and being with my family.
